Dear Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary families:

As I reflect on the 2018-2019 school year I know you will join me in acknowledging and celebrating the wonderful learning experiences and opportunities that have taken place for our students.  I walk the halls of this building and reflect on our students, families, staff and community partners who have created the many memories that are dear to my heart and are bittersweet as we say goodbye to the King building. I am thankful for the new building we will move into in the fall of 2020. I look forward to the new opportunities and memories we will build together in the years to come.

As we wrap up our last year in this building, I want to share some of the details about our relocation to Ogden Elementary School for the 2019-20 school year. The move to Ogden will take place during the summer.

Our students recently selected King Cub University (KCU) for the name of our temporary campus. The name, suggested by a student, reflects our school-wide No Excuses University program.

Sincerely,

Janell Ephraim, principal
